the roads meet

the roads converge they cross

am I to open or close?

am I to rise or sink?

do I take the left or right?

will my decision be right?

I did pray for it I fasted for it

I thought and dreamt about it

now it is happening now it is taking place now it is occurring

and

I am scared

I am confused

I am out of words

I am at my wit’s end

It is the truth what is said

‘be careful what you wish for’

‘be careful what you pray for’

All that remains to be said is ‘God is great,

God is good,

and we thank Him for our gifts, Amen.’
