Eulogy

He lived his life

Full of splendour and joy

A life of fun and dance

A life of bliss and less strife

Now he is lying there stone cold Colder than the Alaskan winter Colder than the Eskimo’s brick

Motionless no longer the young and the bold

The stiff cannot see you

But can his soul see you?

Can it still plead for him?

Can it beg for him?

His life has flickered And left only darkness

What happened to all that power?

Which made him a tower?

His life has flickered

‘Live clean and let your works be seen’ Tosh pronounced carrying the moral torch.

‘In the abundance of water, the fool is thirsty’

Screamed Marley as if revving a Harley they listen?

Did they listen?

Will they listen?

Did he listen?

Those that heard

Said he was a good man!

There he lay stiff and motionless!

That is the eulogy!

His Eulogy!
