We all have our wrongs and our rights
in the journey of life in which we want to reach great heights
on this trip, we meet many passengers
and some may well be strangers
indeed, some may be with us on for a while
some will only be there to catch us when we fall on the tile
beware who is who in this zoo
beware who is to do what for you or to you beware, my brother,
beware, my sister,
I once heard Brother Joseph Hill sing:
“life is like a mirror
it reflects on what you do if you face it smiling
it will smile back to you
so, do unto others as you would have done you.”
It is easier to chastise me
if daily degradation is not the theme
the theme of your conversations with me we all have our wrongs and our rights
and human dignity is also among my fundamental rights remember,
life is like a mirror!
